The building is on a corner location and has a typical pub architecture, it has two main sections, a light and airy bar / games space and a lounge area. On the first floor there are four bedrooms with shared facilities which can be used as letting rooms. The couple running the pub are wanting to retire, so the new owner can run it as the existing trading business or are free to do anything else with the building. It is located near the docks in Birkenhead which is the other side of the Mersey from Liverpool.

This competition is being hosted on the Raffall platform which holds all ticket proceeds until the prize is handed over, or otherwise pays out 75% in cash to the selected winner if insufficient tickets are sold. Additionally, 5% of ticket sales will be donated to the Oliver King Foundation charity to provide Defibrillators for sports ground.
