This is a stunning old Elizabethan Manor house with a Victorian cottage and formal gardens.
Burton Hall is in Cheshire not far from Chester and the Welsh border. The house has five bedrooms and three living rooms as well as a range of other rooms including a music room complete with a Grand Paino. The house is beautifully restored and modernised with wooden panels in many rooms and a modern kitchen. Ouside there are formal gardens, a walled kitchen garden, stables, kennels and a well stocked lake.
The competition requires a spot the ball guess in order to enter. Half a million entries are needed in order to reach the minumum ticket sales to actually give away the house, which is going to be a significant challenge. But this is a stunning place and there has been significant media coverage and a very long duration of the competition. So this one will hopefully make it to the target.
