This Chateau in the rural eastern Dordogne has a classic medieval look but with a sympathetic modern restoration.
The property has nine bedrooms, ancient fireplaces and a farmhouse kitchen as well as many original antiques. The grounds are 34 acres with a stream, wells and a swimming pool. Additionally there is a cottage and barns in the grounds. Currently parts of the property are let out for holiday gites bringing in a healthly income.
In order to enter the competition there are two challenging questions which will test your knowledge of French sayings. With 350,000 minimum ticket sales required in order to win the property it will be a challenge, but with such a stunning chateau it could be successful. The competition includes additional funds which go to an Eco village community project in Cornwall.
